Job summary

ABM Industries in Round Rock, TX is seeking recyclers to pick up, process and organize recyclable materials, including cardboard, plastic, scrap, refuse and wooden pallets. You will be trained on baler safety and bale distribution.

Shift is 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday through Friday. You must work safely, wear PPE, and cooperate with clients and teammates. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is a plus, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally at all times with client, teammates and other contractors.
• Operate in assigned areas and use of balers as needed.
• Safely transport, load and unload recyclable goods.
• Comply with safety, security, and safety standards established by ABM and clients.
• Perform other duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and dusting as required.
