Job summary

Community Counseling of Bristol County in Taunton, MA is hiring a Recovery Support Specialist for the COE-RRS program. The role runs Sunday through Thursday, 3pm-11pm, providing direct care, treatment planning and milieu supervision within an office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or experience in rehabilitation, support, or housing services.
• Familiarity with housing first, recovery and rehabilitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate care through individual and group sessions.
• Assist patients with techniques for managing substance use and mental health issues.
• Complete client admissions and maintain accurate records in the EMR system.
• Monitor residents progress and ensure safety with hourly checks and documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff and therapists for integrated treatment.
• Facilitate initial treatment planning and patient teaching projects.
• Respond to patient grievances and coordinate transportation as needed.
