Job summary

HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team on a full-time basis. The role involves taking radiographs to support accurate diagnoses, ensuring image quality, and maintaining patient care with compassion and professionalism.

The ideal candidate has ARRT (R) certification, Florida licensure, and BLS, with the ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved educational institution.
• Valid ARRT (R) certification.
• Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) active/clear.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Take radiographs (x-rays) to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images with proper lead markers and date/time stickers.
• Select appropriate technical factors and techniques; assist with contrast media when indicated.
• Position patients with modesty and safety using equipment as needed.
• Document clinical information prior to exam and complete MEDITECH fields accurately and on time.
• Maintain equipment operation and room cleanliness; prevent cross-contamination.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
