Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Tech for East Campus Diagnostic Imaging. The role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable equipment, under supervision, with emphasis on image quality and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or new radiologic technologist.
• CRT-R required; CRT-F within six months of hire.
• ARRT (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) certification.
• BART or BLS at time of hire; commitment to obtain within six months.
• Experience level varies; Sr. Rad Tech if qualified.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams per established guidelines and protocols.
• Ensure radiation safety and image quality; act as SMES for complex cases.
• Position patients and prepare procedures; enter data in the system as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and Radiologists; support other technologists.

California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R)

California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) within six months

Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT)
