Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced radiology department. You will perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams under the direction of a radiologist, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

Under the Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will gather clinical data, document properly, and support QA and PACS workflows while maintaining inventory and complying with departmental policies. Evening shift, per schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiologic techniques and exams per patient age and setting.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Completes exams and paperwork promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately.
• Assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Sends exams to PACS for radiologist review and performs QA.
• Maintains orderly inventory.
• Provides radiologic services including portables, ED work, C-ARM, fluoroscopy, and general radiology procedures.
• Assists with related duties such as film hanging and documentation.
