Qualifications

• Must be registry eligible or registered radiologic technologist.
• Maintain Iowa Permit to Practice.
• Participate in ISRT or SCD.
• BLS certified or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging procedures on scheduled shifts including operating imaging equipment.
• Rotates through surgery cases to attain level III status.
• Educates patient/family or caregiver on health problems and solutions.
• Maintains department environment, clean and stocked, per protocol.
• Operates equipment safely and reports malfunctions to manager/Bio-med.
