Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the evening shift with rotating weekends and holidays. The role involves preparing patients and procedures, operating radiology equipment, and ensuring film processing and reporting flows smoothly.

Qualified candidates will have AMA-approved radiology education and ARRT eligibility, with a preference for two years of hospital radiology experience. The position requires active state licensure and hospital-based experience.

Qualifications

• Two years hospital radiology experience preferred.
• Student Radiology Technologist training considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparation for Exam: reviews request and resources per department protocols.
• Performance of Exam: prepares patient, performs procedure, and dispatches to next modality/location.
• Develop/Process Films: handles film preparation, processing and handling per protocols.
• Quality Control: ensures film matching and procedure completeness with relevant staff.
• Post-exam Requirements: ensures information available for report rendering; transmits wet readings when necessary.
• Record keeping/paperwork for Exam/Requisition/Film Cycle is completed.
• Maintain x-ray equipment per guidelines and training.
• Maintain adequate supply stock.
• Perform duties ethically and professionally.
