Job summary

West-Tennessee-Healthcare in Dyersburg, TN seeks a Radiologic Technologist on the Evening shift to perform routine diagnostic imaging and related clerical tasks. The role requires enrollment in Radiologic Technologist school and CPR certification during orientation.

Under the direction of the Diagnostic Manager, you will operate radiographic equipment, ensure safety regulations, and support patient care on an assigned shift. Evening hours may involve call back and overtime based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and enrolled in Radiologic Technologist school.
• Must obtain CPR certification during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine diagnostic procedures and portable radiographic procedures on patients of all ages with minimum direction and assistance.
• Demonstrates proficiency with the Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), Computed Radiography (CR), and Digital Radiography (DR).
• Proficient use of all diagnostic Radiologic equipment with minimum direction and assistance.
• Operation and care of computerized processing system.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
• Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department.
