Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hiring a Radiographer to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety at our Albuquerque site. You will educate patients, collaborate with physicians, and maintain equipment to support accurate diagnoses and excellent care.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in radiography, NM RRT or temporary license, and a current BLS certification, with ARRT RT(R) preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in radiography or related field.
• New Mexico Radiography Technologist License (RRT) or Temporary NM Radiography Technologist License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT Radiography Certification (RT(R)) preferred at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations following protocols to produce high-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and deliver exceptional imaging service.
• Position patients, prepare rooms, and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Review images for technical quality and accuracy to support diagnosis.
• Maintain imaging equipment, supplies, and appropriately stocked radiography rooms.
• Adhere to policies, quality assurance standards, and safety regulations.
• Keep a clean, organized work environment and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Stay current with imaging advancements through continuing education and training.
