Job summary

St. Paul’s Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate QMA to join our healthcare team on the night shift. You will administer medications, monitor residents, assist with ADLs, and maintain precise records to support safe, high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds Indiana QMA certification, has prior long-term care exposure, and demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork. This role requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays, to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Current QMA certification in Indiana is required.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration, resident care standards, and state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, in compliance with state regulations.
• Monitor residents for changes in health and report observations.
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and care activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a clean environment.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members to coordinate care.
• Support nursing staff in emergencies and prompt care.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for residents and families.
