Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, VA, seeks Building and Cresset Attendants for Evening Programs and Special Events. You will prepare spaces, set up lighting with lanterns and cressets, greet guests, check tickets, and provide exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in storytelling, historical interpretation, theater or related field.
• Interviews, clearings, and/or auditions may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare buildings and lighting for Evening Programs and Special Events.
• Greet guests, check tickets and provide exceptional guest service.
• Arrange furnishings, artifacts, candles, lanterns and lighting devices for programs and restore after events.
• Maintain lanterns, globes, and cresset baskets and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor audiences to ensure compliance with fire safety rules.
• Collaborate with team to model expectations and contribute to mission.
