Job summary

PPG in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Production Operator to join the 3pm–11:30pm shift. You will set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment across machining, processing, assembly, or packaging lines to keep production moving smoothly.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, prior manufacturing or warehouse experience, and flexibility for overtime. Pay starts at $25.14 per hour plus shift differential, with full-time hours in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Able to work any job and overtime as needed; must be clean shaven for PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment before executing job orders.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in good and safe condition; inspect for replacements or repairs.
• Provide assistance to junior operators in their assigned responsibilities.
• Clean equipment when needed and evaluate performance for improvements.
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer materials between warehouse and working area.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
