Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking General Production team members to join our production line. You will perform essential tasks to produce safe, high-quality meat products while supporting coworkers and meeting daily targets.

Work hours are 3:00pm to 3:00am, Monday-Friday and Saturdays, with industry-leading wages and comprehensive benefits. This is a physically demanding role requiring good hand-eye coordination and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and use knives and machinery.
• Able to work on a 12-hour shift in cold and warm environments.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Physically demanding with hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, knives, machinery to process meat products.
• Maintain safety, quality, and teamwork on production line.
• May require certification to operate equipment.
• Follow relevant instructions and work overtime if production demands.
