Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Waldwick, NJ is seeking a Porter for Sunday and Monday evenings (4 PM to 8 PM). This per diem position focuses on maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests in a luxury senior living community.

You will handle daily cleaning tasks, support housekeeping operations and provide friendly, professional service consistent with our high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Be upbeat, courteous and professional with residents, families and staff.
• Maintain high cleaning standards in public areas and facilities.
• Work in a fast-paced hospitality environment with reliability.
• Experience in restaurant, healthcare, hotel or hospitality is a plus.
• Experience with senior populations is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, bathrooms, rooms and hallways as assigned.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness for residents and staff during shifts.
• Assist with snow removal and other occasional cleanup tasks as needed.
