Job summary

ServiceMaster Action Cleaning in Hahnsville, LA is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety of the plant, including offices and restrooms. 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. Must use ServiceMaster approved products and wear proper PPE.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year cleaning experience, and reliable transportation. A TWIC card is required or obtainable; OSHA preferred.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services.
• Driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Excellent stamina and physical health and able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.
• Background checks and drug screen will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the buildings.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and quality standards established by the company and regulatory authorities.
• Use proper PPE where required.

We’re looking to hire a hard-working Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of the plant. This job location is Hahnsville, LA. 4 pm to 8 pm Monday -Friday. The plant janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the plant, including outlying buildings, common areas, offices, and restrooms. The role requires the proper and safe use of ServiceMaster approved products, tools, procedures and equipment in an industrial setting. To work well in this role, you should be willing to learn our cleaning process and be dependable to carry out tasks as trained as well as having dependable transportation at all times. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done. Must contribute to a positive work climate by displaying a pleasant attitude, embracing our corporate culture and values, and contributing to the overall team effort by being in uniform, dependable, and on time. Must have a TWIC card or able to acquire one. UP TO DATE TWIC Required. OSHA PREFERRED
