Training and orientation are provided, with exposure to a fast-paced clinical environment. Evening shift requirements include coverage every other weekend and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician preferred or demonstrated phlebotomy experience.
• Healthcare setting experience and strong patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection per policies in inpatient and WBH settings.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper labeling of specimens.
• Collect samples from pediatric and adult patients with professional care.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and isolation protocols.
• Operate LIS and bedside testing devices; support quality control tasks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in safety roles.
