Job summary

UCHealth in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens in the PVH Phlebotomy department. This is an onsite, full-time role with evenings shifts and a 72-hour pay period (2 weeks).

You will label, process and deliver specimens for testing, maintain supplies and equipment, and may perform related clerical or auxiliary tasks as needed. A phlebotomy program completion and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Label, process and deliver specimens for testing.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as necessary or assigned (clerical, registration, lab processing, send-out testing, point of care testing, EKG, etc.).
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
