Job summary

MemorialCare is seeking a Perioperative Care Assistant in Laguna Hills, CA. This unlicensed caregiver supports Recovery Room Services under RN guidance, handling patient flow, hygiene, basic care, and data collection to aid discharge progress.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care / telemetry experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of clinical and information technology systems.
• Safely and competently perform assigned activities.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
• Follow directions and communicate with the RN and healthcare team in a timely manner.
