Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Patient and Equipment Transporter. This role involves the internal transport of patients and distribution of assignment equipment, with a rotating afternoon/evening shift (2pm-10:30pm).

The position is part-time and does not offer insurance benefits or paid time off; daily pay is available. Typically requires a high school diploma and BLS/HCP certification. Previous customer service or patient care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
• Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all questions and requests in a timely manner, providing the highest degree of customer service to patients and staff alike.
• Coordinates with team to dispatch transporters appropriately.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer service relations.
• Demonstrate use of transfer techniques and equipment as needed.
