Responsibilities

• Acts as key contact between food and nutrition and the patient, obtaining meal orders and orienting to room service.
• Delivers meals and collects patient trays, recording intake and noting patient concerns.
• Processes diet changes, documents allergies and preferences, and balances nutrients using the computer system.
• Maintains patient information and reports quality issues to management.
• Loads, transports, and delivers meals to patient rooms and supports nursing units.
