Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Laundry Aide for part-time evening shifts (5-10 p.m.) to perform daily laundry services for patients in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Responsibilities include sorting, ironing, folding, distribution, and maintaining safety and sanitation. High school graduate or equivalent preferred; healthcare experience preferred. Candidates must read, write, and understand English.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• Make independent decisions when warranted.
• Understand laws, regulations, and guidelines governing post-acute care.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.
• Adhere to Life Care’s Code of Conduct and complete training.
• Read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day laundry tasks including sorting, ironing, folding, and distributing.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients when needed.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
