Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If in North Dakota and not a CNA, must be on the North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or within four months of initial employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Record vital statistics and basic health information.
• Administer basic healthcare and medical treatments; assist with daily living activities.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment; clean patient areas and dispose of waste.
