Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Collier area, scheduled for evening shifts. The role involves supporting RN/LPN staff with activities of daily living, vital signs, and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in acute care or are enrolled in a nursing program, with BCLS within 90 days and CNA preferred. Competitive base pay with shift incentives and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of acute care experience or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record patient data including vital signs and report findings to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, linen changes and mobility support.
• Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect urine/stool samples and perform blood glucose monitoring per protocol.
