Job summary

AthenaPsych in New York State is a fee-for-service provider of mental health services for children, adults, and families, offering both in-person and telehealth therapies focused on trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health field from an accredited program.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• LMSW, LMHC, LCAT or LMFT is a plus but not required.
• Must be Limited Permit Eligible. No expired LPs.
• Experience in OMH environment is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evidence-based therapeutic sessions for children, families, and individuals in person or via telehealth.
• Develops and implements goal-oriented treatment plans.
• Completes documentation by a given deadline and in compliance with program and state regulations.
• Ensures all clinical notes and client information are updated and accurate within the current EHR system.
• Provide conflict resolution and crisis intervention when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

CompensationWe are a fee-for-service modeled clinic where therapists are paid per session completed.

Individual sessions are 45 minutes long.

Compensation is based on credentials and experience.

Additional InformationWorking Conditions:

The primary work location varies. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair, and office supplies will be provided in either office.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak on the phone or through virtual telehealth sessions conducted on a computer throughout the day, stand and sit for an extended period, and be able to write and answer emails in addition to carrying objects no greater than 20 pounds, when needed.
