Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• 1 year of customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Receives daily assignment and reports to assigned area.
• Selects cleaning materials and prepares equipment and cleaning solution.
• Follows prescribed health guidelines in completing assigned responsibilities.
• Cleans equipment at the end of shift and notifies supervisor of repairs.
• Reports mechanical failure or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Participates in emergency procedures as assigned.
• Performs routine duties and prioritizes daily tasks.
• Operates autoclave for medical waste as assigned.
• Maintains hospital grounds and assists with snow removal as required.
• Handles and disposes of linen and soiled materials per procedures.
• Completes assigned tasks within the allotted time.
