Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for part-time janitor positions at McCracken Jr High School in Spartanburg, SC. Shifts are Monday–Friday with evenings, multiple locations within the district. Prior janitorial experience preferred.

Hourly pay starts at $9.50, with a comprehensive benefits package and same-day pay option. As part of SSC Services for Education within Compass Group, you will keep facilities clean and safe, support infection control measures, and contribute to a positive school

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience preferred.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls and glass.
• Disposes of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
• Moves furniture for cleaning and returns to correct placement.
• Follows eight-step cleaning procedure and sanitizes all surfaces.
• Complies with federal, state and local guidelines.
