Job summary

Riverside Health in Gloucester, Virginia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time evening shift. You will work under the supervision of the Nursing Manager and assist with direct resident care, hygiene, safety, and dignity, while observing facility policies.

The role requires a Virginia CNA certification, CPR/BLS and First Aid within 30 days of hire. Experience is preferred but not required, and training is provided to ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and adherence

Qualifications

• Must hold Virginia CNA certification (VDHP).
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in nurse aide role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene, appearance, safety, and nutritional needs of residents.
• Provide direct resident care to maintain or improve functional status.
• Document ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors in EMR.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety standards.
