Job summary

Janitronics Facility Services in Northfield, VT is seeking a Part Time Team Cleaning Specialist to support daily cleaning tasks in offices and facilities. You will follow supervisor directives, maintain cleanliness, manage supplies, and uphold safety standards.

This role requires reliability and the ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work nonstandard hours. The position offers weekly pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401K; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment; safe handling procedures.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors as needed.
• Resupply/restock and supplies as needed.
• Collect and dispose of all trash in receptacles in assigned areas.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures.
• Maintain company standards and programs for safety and security.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards with minimal supervision.
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Maintain good communication with your supervisor and other employees.
• Communicate any needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and/or maintenance work needed to your supervisor.
• Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
