Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across our store, product and customer service areas. You will interact with customers and demonstrate what above-and-beyond service means within our Meijer family.

This role involves assisting with cart duties, parking lot care, trash removal, snow removal, returns, cleaning, and collaboration with multiple store departments. A friendly, detail-focused, fast-paced team member will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for details.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
