Job summary

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is seeking a Part-time Park Services Housekeeping Employee (Second Shift). The role involves cleaning offices, exhibits, and public spaces, using cleaning equipment, and assisting with events while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, detail-oriented, and able to work evenings 3:30pm-11pm, with typical weekly hours 18–30 and weekend availability. Prior housekeeping or groundskeeping experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated to work independently or with a team.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties in offices, classrooms, exhibit buildings, and public spaces.
• Sweep, collect litter, trash removal and restroom cleaning.
• Operate cleaning equipment like vacuums and floor machines.
• Respond promptly to requests from staff and guests.
• Assist with event setup and cleanup as needed.
