Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age by date of application.
• Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including polygraph exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist with parks security including patrol of parks grounds and buildings; closes and secures gates and facilities.
• Assist with code enforcement activities including taking photos and collecting information to respond to and resolve citizen complaints pertaining to nuisances, signage, animals, litter, abandoned vehicles, home occupations, noise, graffiti, and other code violations.
• Answer questions and explain rules related to park and facilities usage and issues verbal warnings of violations.
• Answer questions and explain laws pertaining to code enforcement; posts corrective notices.
• Request law enforcement assistance if needed.
• Maintain records related to assigned duties.
• Graffiti abatement.
