Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a General Laborer in Willimantic, CT. You’ll hand-sort pallets, boxes and plastics, hand-stack materials, load and unload into trailers, move items on pallets, and verify loads are secure while keeping a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Hand stacking materials appropriately.
• Load and unload materials by hand into trailers.
• Move materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
