Job summary

Danone USA is seeking a motivated Hand Packer to join our Springfield, Oregon manufacturing team. This entry-level role focuses on manual packaging, labeling, stacking, and basic quality checks in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will operate an electric pallet jack, follow SOPs, and support machine operators with material replenishment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with a pay rate of $22.35 per hour and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry).
• Minimum 6 months of dependable, accurate work in a production environment.
• Ability to work safely as part of a team.
• Able to obtain certification for electric pallet jack.
• Ability to adjust schedule for 24/7 manufacturing, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package products, including folding, labeling, and stacking on pallets.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Safely move products through the facility with accuracy.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Engage in safety and quality programs.
• Understand LOTO procedures for machines.
