Per Mar Security Services is seeking hardworking, motivated people for security officer roles in the Midwest. The position is unarmed and includes escorting visitors, performing foot patrols, and monitoring site activity according to post orders.

Evening and overnight shifts are available. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a State Security Officer License, plus background check. Training and benefits commonly accompany a stable, full-time role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State Security Officer License required.
• Submit to pre-employment background check.
• Technical training or college education in related field preferred.
• Previous security officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand guard at post, directing visitors and providing escorts.
• Carry a taser maybe required.
• Log visitor data and basic reports in security system.
• Conduct foot patrols as per post orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per post orders.
• Identify potential safety hazards and report them.
• Wear PPE and follow all PPE policies.
• Follow client site duties outlined in post-orders.
• Work additional hours to fill open shifts as needed.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with company policies.
• Understand attendance expectations and liaise with customers with respect.
