Fairview Health Services is hiring an Oncology RN for the Oncology-5A Department at the UMMC East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. The RN supports adult oncology patients across hematologic and solid tumor services, delivering chemotherapy, infusion therapies, and end-of-life care with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Schedule: 0.6 FTE (48 hours per two weeks), evenings 3:00pm–11:30pm, with every-other-weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• MN RN Licensure required.
• ASN required.
• BLS Certification required.
• BSN preferred; certification in related specialty helpful; 1 year med/surg RN experience desired.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement interventions during treatment based on the plan of care.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Use communication strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care with health-care team and delegate appropriately.
• Advance care via standards, guidelines, and evidence-based practice.
