Job summary

Mary Free Bed is seeking a Nutrition Services Representative (NSR) to join our evening shift team. The NSR handles meal service, tray setup, delivery and rounds for patient satisfaction, delivering compassionate hospitality to patients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting meal prep, maintaining meal schedules, and upholding dietary policies while providing outstanding customer service and teamwork within our interdisciplinary hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing all work duties and routines as assigned by the manager, including using various dietary utensils, equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the preparation of meals.
• Meet scheduled mealtimes and snack times.
• Follow all policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and standards of behaviors as well as encourages, coaches, and monitors the same in team members.
• Contribute by identifying problems and seeking solutions. Promote patient/family satisfaction where possible; participates in departmental efforts to monitor and report customer service.
