Brown University Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in Pawtucket, RI. The role involves assisting with admission through discharge, documenting on the EHR, and maintaining a safe, clean environment according to hospital policies.

Evening shifts with rotating weekends are required. Qualified candidates will hold a Rhode Island Nursing Assistant license, be capable with basic computer tasks, and be BLS certified.

Competenze

• Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant.
• High school graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills.
• Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care to patients across the life span.

• Collaborate with Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities.
• Perform personal care and basic nursing assistant tasks as outlined by RI licensing.
• Assist in rehabilitation and activities of daily living.
• Maintain safe environment and report unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair.
• Accurately document data in the EHR and care flowsheet and assist in emergency situations.
