Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Evening Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN) to lead the clinical team on evenings.

This floor-level leadership role oversees Charge Nurses, CNAs, and other aides, ensuring safe, person-centered care and smooth shift operations. You will mentor staff, monitor care quality, and act as a clinical bridge to the DON/ADON while complying with state regulations and community policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Evening shifts, rotating weekends and holidays availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership guidance and support to frontline nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CMTs, Restorative Aides).
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care, safety, and quality standards.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Collaborate with DON, ADON, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support infection prevention, medication management, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with State Regulations, community policies, and clinical standards.
• Assist with admissions, assessments, incident investigations, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Serve as clinical lead and decision-maker during the evening shift.

Responsibilities Overview:

As an Evening Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN), you’ll lead by example, assist with mentoring the clinical team, and ensure every resident receives safe, exceptional, person-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with rotating weekends
• Competitive Pay: $36+ per hour

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care (LTC) or assisted living required
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and team leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Availability for evening shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays as needed
