Job summary

CORE Linen Services is seeking a Plant Non-Production Driver (Non-CDL) to support nightly deliveries in Birmingham and Fultondale, AL. The role requires a clean driving record, DOT compliance, and the ability to lift heavy loads while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily routes.

The position entails loading and unloading linen carts, completing per-shift paperwork, and performing vehicle inspections and routine maintenance. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull a 700 lb cart.
• Ability to work second shift, weekends, and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload linen carts at company and customer sites, tagging items accordingly.
• Complete required paperwork/logs daily.
• Weigh soil in the correct customer area and transport to the soil room.
• Disinfect vehicles after soil pickups and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform customer deliveries accurately and on time.
