Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Psychiatric RN for an evening/night shift in Maine with an active ME or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.
The role runs a 12-week contract on evenings from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and requires an active license, references, and a valid driver’s license. The position utilizes EPIC EMR, with a float policy up to 25 miles between MaineHealth facilities and a minimal PTO expectation during the contract.
Qualifications
- Active ME or compact RN license required upon consideration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- AHA certifications accepted at time of consideration but must be completed prior to start.
- Driver's license required for consideration.
- 2 professional references required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric nursing care for adult inpatients.
- Evening/night shift 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
- 12-week contract assignment.
- Uses EPIC EMR in daily nursing workflows.
- Float up to 25 miles between MaineHealth facilities.
- RTO kept to a minimum; 3–4 days considered reasonable.
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are not eligible for renewals.
- Disclose prior MaineHealth employment within past 12 months.
