Eckerd Connects in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a Residential Advisor for the Evening & Night Shift. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, supportive dorm environment for Job Corps trainees aged 16–24, guiding daily activities, and monitoring progress toward performance goals.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to handle behavior management. The schedule includes 3pm–12am or 11:30pm–8:30am; excellent benefits and employer matching

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Prefer two years' experience in a related field such as counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive environment in dormitory supervision of Job Corps trainees during daily activities.
• Conduct dormitory operations in accordance with center policies and procedures.
• Provide daily supervision to students aged 16–24 to ensure good order and discipline.
• Ensure dormitories are supervised 24 hours a day and rules are followed by residents.
• Maintain 100% accountability of all residents and logbook entries for significant events.
• Assist students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification and mentoring.
