Job summary

Piedmont Geriatric Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Assistant to provide direct patient care for psychiatric patients, including support with daily living activities, under supervision of licensed staff. Evening and night shifts are available; a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible new hires.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license, basic computer knowledge, and preferred bilingual Spanish/English abilities. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to psychiatric patients per care policies.
• Follow instructions and report observations to the licensed nurse promptly.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Demonstrate competencies as defined on the Competency Assessment.
