Job summary

US Military Treatment Facilities under DHA seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. Primary duties are in the core laboratory with off-shift rotations (1500-2300 or 2300-0700).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or MLS/CLS field and NAACLS-accredited program.
• Experience with manual differentials and instrument calibration is expected.
• Certification/licensure as medical technologist (generalist) is a good indication.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual differential cell counting and cell morphology analysis.
• Calibrate or maintain clinical laboratory instruments for panels and enzymes.
• Perform tests in microbiology, chemistry, hematology and urinalysis as needed.
