Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center — Taylor, TX is hiring a Multimodality Technologist for CT/X‑Ray with an evening shift (3:30 PM–11:00 PM), Monday–Friday. This role conducts CT and X‑ray imaging under Radiologist supervision in a high-volume hospital and outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited program.
• Less than 1 year of imaging experience.
• Texas MRT license and ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray exams per protocols.
• Position patients correctly and adjust equipment settings for CT and radiographs.
• Maintain image quality and productivity while delivering timely imaging services.
• Uphold radiation safety standards and monitor dose reference levels.
• Utilize iSTAT point-of-care testing to obtain creatinine when required.
• Communicate procedures clearly and reassure patients throughout exams.
• Verify correct exam and patient using established identification procedures.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and sterile technique during imaging.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in accordance with safety and cleanliness policies.
• Assist with department operations and inventory as needed.
