Job summary

Fresenius Kabi is seeking an Associate Scientist to support the Microbiology department across multiple projects and routine tasks. The role coordinates timely completion of routine and project testing, and assists with training of Production and Quality Control personnel.

Overtime may be required. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), paid time off, health coverage, and other programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required with 1–3 years' related experience.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing machinery design and operation preferred.
• MS Project experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction and process drawings preferred.
• Engineering/technical background required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Gram Staining.
• Monitors and tracks laboratory results.
• Trains new department personnel on SOPs.
• Provides validation test support.
• Performs environmental monitoring and routine testing of in-process and finished products.
• Performs routine analysis related to the testing and release of Raw Material, In-Process Finished Product, and Stability.
• Assist with the execution of equipment and method validation.
• Reviews data generated by QC technicians and approves testing paperwork.
