Qualifications

• AHA BLS Healthcare required.
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year experience in acute/chronic psychiatric or substance abuse treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direct supervision of the RN according to IPOC and unit guidelines.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks as needed.
• Document patient data, vital signs and observations per guidelines.
• Maintain clear communication with the RN and report changes promptly.
