Job summary

The New Homestead is seeking a part-time Medication Manager/Caregiver for Campbell Street operations. The role supports resident care, ensures medications are administered correctly, and upholds resident rights with compassion and professionalism.

Active CPR and First Aid certifications are required, along with a Medication Manager Certification or equivalent experience. Expect responsibilities including supervising staff, documenting care, and collaborating with clinical leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• Must have an active Medication Manager Certification in good standing or at least one year of experience in the care of seniors.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Must have an approved Medication Manager Certificate from the Department of Inspection and Appeals.
• Willing to take additional training or education as states may require.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given per Physician orders.
• Follow Six rights of medication administration and Campbell St policies on medication management.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Maintain documentation and uphold resident rights and dignity.
