Job summary

Geisinger Community Health Services & Sleep Disorder Center is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to support daily operations in Danville, VA. You will drive a vehicle to pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, mail and reports according to the supervisor’s schedule, with evenings shift availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and to sit/drive for extended periods.
• Attention to infection control procedures, safety standards and traffic rules.

Responsibilities

• Delivers supplies, equipment, mail and reports as needed.
• Loads and unloads vehicles for safe transport of materials.
• Maintains records of pick-ups, deliveries, driving time, mileage, fuel purchases, etc.
• Responds to urgent pick-ups and deliveries by coordinating with supervisor.
