Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Erie, PA is seeking a Medical Courier to join our team Monday to Friday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. You will pick up and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route, ensuring timely and accurate transport. You’ll work independently, communicate professionally with doctors and lab staff, and operate a company vehicle (non-CDL).

Qualifications

Requires valid driver’s license with clean MVR and limited moving violations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
Comfort with handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay active during shifts.
Prior medical, courier, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
