Job summary

Barrett Petfood in Brainerd, MN is hiring a Full Time Raw Ingredient Receiver to ensure premium ingredients feed our pet food production. This onsite role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate inventory; the shift runs Monday through Friday, 6 PM to 2:30 AM with a $21.00–$24.50 hourly pay plus a $1.50 shift differential.

You’ll manage the meat room, train staff, log batch data in Plex, handle forklift tasks, unload pallets, and keep sanitation to standards as part of a fast-paced,

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Meat room.
• Train staff in proper workflow and sanitation procedures
• Enter batch information into Plex Software and manage inventory on a daily basis to ensure product is in stock and accurately counted
• Mix ingredients together and grind blocks of meat into meat grinder
• Add oils as needed per customer specifications
• Receive in Trucks and enter inventory into computer
• Unload frozen meat pallets into freezer for storage using forklift
• Clean meat room equipment throughout the day and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards
• Work with a team to ensure products are safely processed in a timely manner
